Have you ever noticed this?

The scariest part of Noah’s Ark wasn’t the flood…
it was the design.

God gave exact measurements.
He chose the wood.
He sealed it perfectly.

But there was no steering wheel.
No sail.
No engine.
No captain’s chair.

Because the Ark was never meant to be steered.
It was meant to be trusted.

Noah didn’t know where the waters would take him.
He didn’t control the storm.
He didn’t decide the destination.

He simply obeyed…
and stepped inside.

And when the rain began to fall, Scripture says God Himself shut the door.

Noah wasn’t in charge of the journey.
He was safe in the hands of the One who was.

And maybe that’s the reminder we need today.

Sometimes God doesn’t give us the wheel.
Not because He’s careless, but because He’s faithful.
Because what He’s calling us to trust Him with was never meant to be controlled, only surrendered.

We keep trying to steer what God already promised to carry.
We panic when we can’t see where we’re going.
We forget that the same God who designed the Ark…
designed the outcome.

If He called you into it,
He will carry you through it.

Let go.
Rest.
Float in faith.

God is still in control. 🤍🙏🏻

A PENTECOST PRAYER
By, Bishop Rob (2026)

———————————————————-

Come, Holy Spirit,
Embrace me and hold me when I am feeling anxious, afraid, or lost.

Come, Holy Spirit,
Enkindle in me the fire of God’s love for whatever and whomever I meet.

Come, Holy Spirit,
Purge me from any sin or any distraction that would have me forget you are nearer than my own breath and heartbeat.

Come, Holy Spirit,
Show me the glory of your greening presence in all created beings, living or not, teeming or unmoving. Guide my heart and hands to further your healing, restoration and renewing of this glorious and wounded planet that is yours, not ours.

Come, Holy Spirit,
Fashion my will with your strength that my life will invite—and not fruitlessly shame—others to the grace of Jesus Christ.

Come, Holy Spirit,
Comfort those burdened with grief, sorrow, fear, confusion, or anger. Be their soothing balm today.

Come, Holy Spirit,
Guide me to a new and steady vision of justice and good in this society, especially when I cannot or I refuse to hope, or see, or work for it.

Come, Holy Spirit,
Enter the cracks and brokenness, the failures and shortcomings of my life and this world. Fill my soul with the forgiveness and peace that the Risen Jesus breathes on those who follow him

Come, Holy Spirit,
Help me rejoice in finding you to be the source and the homecoming of all my prayers, all my actions, indeed my entire life—in the past, in the present, and for all eternity.

Come, Holy Spirit.
