Ascension Day Worship Service & Potluck: Thursday, May 14, 5:30 p.m.

Ascension Day is the feast when Christians celebrate Jesus’ ascension into heaven after his resurrection.
In the Episcopal Church, it is one of the principal feasts of the church year and is observed 40 days after Easter, always on a Thursday. It marks the event described in Acts 1:1–11, when the risen Christ is taken up into heaven in the sight of his disciples.
