Happy Feast Day of the Sacred Heart of Jesus! 🙏

The Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus

Happy Feast Day to our Congregation and to all congregations that bear the title of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, as well as to dioceses, parishes, and communities celebrating this special feast.

In the 17th century, Christ appeared to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque in a vision, revealing His Heart aflame with love. The burning Heart of Christ reminds us that His love for us never ends, and He invites us to come and dwell in that warmth and love.

In the 20th century, Fr. Mateo Crawley-Boevey, ss.cc. showed us a way to respond to this invitation through the practice of the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart. Through this devotion, we welcome the Heart of Jesus into our homes so that we may continually experience the love He has for us.

May this Solemnity invite us to feel and dwell in the warmth of Christ’s love. May the burning Heart of Christ live within us so that we may recognize His love in our daily lives and share it with others.
