Ramona Avenue Christian Church (RACC) Disciples of Christ (DOC) is an open and affirming house of God. We hold "no creed but Christ" and require for membership in this community only confession that Jesus is the Christ, Son of God, acceptance of Him as Lord and Savior, and obedience to Him in baptism, (previous baptisms are accepted). We believe in the individual relationship of each person with G
od. We believe that communion is open to all believers. We do not believe that differences of scriptural interpretation should interfere with our common worship or of our unity of faith in Christ Jesus. All are welcome to Services held each Sunday at 11:00 AM (online during the pandemic), which include Beautiful Music, Hymn Singing, Sermons based on Scripture yet prepared for the modern world, Prayer, and the Sharing of Joys and Concerns. We have an active and committed Choir which sings every Sunday from September through June, and welcomes new members. Our Women's Group meets monthly for study and for work on Community projects. The Church engages in community outreach initiatives such as the Aids Walk, Walk for the Hungry, Treasure Box Food Outreach, among others. We have an active Church Board that helps with planning, program, budget and decisions that affect governance of the church. We also have a beautiful campus which includes a church, a fireside room (for board meetings/celebrations), fellowship hall, etc. Our facilities are available for weddings, funerals, memorial services, baby showers, family get-togethers, community meetings, piano/music recitals, etc. For additional information, please visit our website, or call the church office between 9:00 AM-12:30 PM, Monday-Friday.
