I was deeply saddened on Tuesday to learn of the death of Dolly Parton. She was a bright shining light not just in the world of entertainment, but also in the world of philanthropy. Her charitable efforts were many and varied, but they tended toward those most in need. All spurred on by her deep and abiding faith in God.
A strong advocate for human rights and human justice, she also used her platform to press for causes that often challenged her many fans to see everyone as worthy of love.
To honor Dolly, you are invited to wear PINK to church this Sunday. Let’s have some fun celebrating a true one of a kind! Rev Kev
