“I’m Doing The Best I Can”
2 Corinthians 11:1-14 (NLT)

The Apostle Paul was concerned that the believers in Corinth were being pulled away from their sincere and pure devotion to Jesus Christ. They weren’t abandoning the faith all at once; they were gradually being distracted by other voices, other teachings, and other influences. The same danger exists today.

We live in a world where convenience often replaces commitment. We tell ourselves, “I’ll watch it online.” “I’ll catch the replay later.” “I’ll get around to it when I have time.” Yet “later” often becomes never.

Online worship is a wonderful tool for those who are sick, traveling, homebound, or unable to attend. But it was never intended to REPLACE the gathering of God’s people. There is something powerful about coming into the House of God, lifting our voices together, praying together, hearing God’s Word together, and encouraging one another face-to-face.

Know this: The enemy doesn’t always pull people away through rebellion; sometimes he pulls them away through convenience, distraction, and delay. Paul’s message to Corinth is God’s message to us:

Remain focused.
Stay committed.
Be loyal to Christ.

* Don’t let distractions replace devotion.
* Don’t let convenience replace commitment.
* Don’t let delay rob you of what God wants to do in your life right now.

This Sunday, make the decision to come into the House of the Lord. Bring your family. Bring your children. Bring your praise. Bring your expectation. Because some blessings can only be experienced when God’s people gather together.
