We can either ignore our conscience or confess our sin.

God is waiting with open arms for us. Come back to the Father.

Faith and resignation are not the same thing.

Sometimes people think that if they just throw up their hands and say, "Oh well, whatever happens happens," that is somehow faith in God, but it's not.

It's just resignation to the circumstances. Faith in God requires a belief that God will provide deliverance from whatever situation we're in.

Many Believers tend to think that God's love changes depending on their circumstances.

When things are going well, and they feel blessed, they believe God loves and accepts them. However, during difficult times when they stumble or face loneliness, they doubt God's love and acceptance.

Why is this?

It is because they are depending on their own actions to maintain their acceptance with God. Our worth is not based on our actions or circumstances; it is based on the finished work of Jesus Christ. We are accepted because we are in Christ.
