💔 A Time to Mourn, Even in the Season of Hope
As we celebrate this Christmas season, we are reminded that Jesus came into the world to bring light into darkness, hope into sorrow, and life into a broken world. And yet, even in this season of joy, we still walk through the pain of loss.
One of our house church family members is grieving the sudden loss of his niece, who passed away from heart disease in her early 40s shortly after being released from the hospital. Her passing was unexpected and devastating. She leaves behind two young adult children and one teenage son who now must navigate life without their mother.
There are few pains deeper than a parent burying a child—no matter the age. It is a grief that words cannot fully express.
As the body of Christ, we are called to “weep with those who weep” (Romans 12:15) and to bear one another’s burdens in love. While we hold tightly to the hope we have in Jesus, we also recognize that grief is real, heavy, and holy.
If you feel led, we invite you to support this family through prayer and, if you are able, through giving. Every act of love—whether a prayer, a message, or a gift—matters.

Please keep this family in your prayers during this incredibly difficult time. May the peace of Christ surround them, and may the God of all comfort be near to the brokenhearted.
