This weekend we partnered with and were a small part of the 5000 volunteers who will pick up thousands of pounds of trash in our county alone today. Sometimes serving isn't glamorous, but it always honors God. Just those cigarette butts we picked up can polute enough water to fill about 30 Olympic swimming pools & a significant portion of that trash was pulled from storm drains here in El Cajon that lead directly to the ocean. 🗑️💧🙏🏽

Yesterday we celebrated one year around the sun for Gaelle & her amazing family. What a gift it was to formally dedicate her to Jesus as a framily at her birthday party! And trust me.. she loves us, but clearly not LOUD all of us😍

This church might be small, but today we had a pregnant mom, 1st time moms, veteran moms, both new & old grandmas, a great grandma & several mourning the loss of wives & moms... all learning together & walking together in this thing we call a life of faith.

On the last weekend of the month, we like to change things up. Instead of gathering as a home church to examine the Scriptures and do life together, we choose to go into the community and be present and make a difference.

This weekend we partnered with the US Fish and Wildlife Service and the Earth Discovery Institute to plant 195 plants from 6 native species into a habitat at a local trail in just 2 hours. Thank God for wet soil. 😅

We got to share a homemade brunch complete with made-to-order waffles & omeletes and interview/pray for this amazing group of mom's today! Motherhood is a gift & such a hard road to travel. So thankful for their wisdom & grace!
