This coming Sunday, April 12th, our bishop, Phil Ashey, will be among us to celebrate the Easter season and to lead us in the Rite of Confirmation. Those who will be confirmed, received from other traditions, and who reaffirm their faith, will have hands laid on their heads. Please plan to join us as we celebrate this testament to God’s new creation work in Christ, especially seen in and through the lives of those who will go before the bishop.

Let's Do Holy Week Together!

Tuesday, March 31st + Wednesday, April 1st: Evening Prayer
4:30pm, HSAC Service (HSAC Hosts at Del Cerro Baptist Campus)

These shorter evening prayer services provide a chance to set the tone for Holy Week and will focus on going through the suffering servant lessons assigned.

Maundy Thursday | April 2nd
Dinner @ 5:15pm, DCBC Fellowship Hall + Worship @ 6pm , DCBC Sanctuary (HSAC Hosts)

The evening begins with a fellowship meal and discussion of Jesus’ washing of the disciples’ feet before heading into the sanctuary for our worship service which will focus on the Last Supper.

Good Friday | April 3rd
12noon, Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Ocean Beach (BCP service) || 6pm, DCBC Sanctuary -- DCBC Hosts (ecumenical service)

In this somber service, we remember the crucifixion of our Lord on the wood of the cross.

The Great Vigil of Easter | April 4th
7:30pm, HSAC Service (HSAC hosts at Del Cerro Baptist Campus)

This service begins in darkness as Lent comes to a conclusion and then as the first light of Easter dawns, we joyfully renew our baptismal covenant and kick-off the Easter Season.

Easter Sunday | April 5th
4pm, HSAC Service (HSAC hosts at Del Cerro Baptist Campus)

With this service, we rejoice and celebrate the risen Lord!

Bring bells to ring, flowers to adorn the altar, friends with whom to share the good news of Christ, and a dish to share at the potluck meal!
