As I read the Daily Bread I share this reflection Pursued by God
Even when we drift, God never gives up on us. Like the psalmist who confessed, “I have strayed like a lost sheep,” we, too, sometimes wander from His ways. Yet God’s love is not distant—it is active, seeking, and restorative. He searches for us not to condemn but to bring us back into His care.
Through His Word, He gently guides our hearts, teaching us truth and renewing our obedience. When we submit to His commands and trust in His steadfast love, we find the way home again—safe under the Shepherd’s watchful eye.

“Don’t Lose Hope”
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”
— 1 Peter 1:3 (NIV)

Keep walking in the light; the light of Jesus Christ
Luke 9: 62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Today message

Compassion, as depicted in Luke 10:25-37, emphasizes the importance of having compassion in our hearts. It encourages us to be fully present in the race of life and to approach it with genuine care and understanding.

As we conlude 1Peter 3: 8-12

8 Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble. 9 Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.
10 For, “Whoever would love life
and see good days
must keep their tongue from evil
and their lips from deceitful speech.
11 They must turn from evil and do good;
they must seek peace and pursue it.
12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous
and his ears are attentive to their prayer,
but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”

Listen up, everyone! Let’s all be kind, understanding, and loving towards each other. Don’t fight back with anger or insults. Instead, treat others with kindness and compassion. Remember, you were chosen to receive blessings, so let’s spread love and positivity.

As the Bible says, “Whoever loves life and wants to see good things will avoid evil and speak truthfully.” We should all strive to turn away from evil and do good. Seek peace and pursue it with all our hearts.

The Lord watches over the righteous and listens to their prayers. But if we do evil, He will turn His face away from us.

GOOD MORNING ♥️

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
That You may give him power to keep himself calm in the days of adversity.
Psalm 94:13, AMPC

WHEN SOMEONE PUSHES YOUR BUTTONS

TODAY’S WORD
When you take the high road and remain calm and quiet when someone offends you, some people may mistake that for weakness, but the truth is, that’s a sign of strength. It takes a strong person to overlook an offense and not retaliate. It takes maturity to not get into an argument and just ignore them. Some people will try to bait you. They love to argue. They’ll do things on purpose to try to stir you up. Their mission is to get you all riled up. If you give in, if you take that bait, you’re allowing them to control you. If they push this button, you get upset. If they push that button, you lose your temper. If they push that button, you give in and compromise. Do yourself a favor and turn off those buttons. Don’t take the bait. Don’t sink down to their level. Next time that happens, just smile and move forward. Turn it over to God and let Him handle that person. You have a destiny to fulfill. You don’t have time to play those games.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
“Father, thank You for Your Word that says You have given me the power to keep calm in times of adversity. Help me relearn how to respond when someone pushes my buttons for a reaction. I declare that I will not let others stir me up and control me any longer. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
