The church has gathered food for the food bank and will be delivering it to the catholic church this Thursday. If you want to help deliver then be at the church at 4:15 Thursday. If you'd like to contribute to the food drive... please bring non perishable foods to youth group Wednesday night!

This week we are going to have youth group from 6 to 8 pm. Drop off and pickuo will be the same. Jocelyn and Samantha will drive them .We are going to go to dollar store in alamosa to get stuff for operation Christmas child boxes. Bring money to contribute if possible.

Join us for youth group starting this Wednesdays! Youth group is held every Wednesday from 7-8pm at the United Church in La Jara. We have a game, snack, and lesson! We also do several activities and community service projects throughout the year! This group is led by the youth and overseen by parents. Our beginning lesson will be a four week series called Overwhelmed! Youth group is a great place to find the calm in life.... Through Jesus, fellowship, and being able to always be yourself!

An opportunity to GIVE-
Andrew and Adrian Livingstone faced an emergency with their 8-month old baby girl, Carady, that quickly led to a flight for life trip to Childrens Hospital and is currently going on day 14 of being in the PICU in the hospital. Dad has been out of work, being away from home is expensive, and medical bills are already coming in. Although we are hopeful Carady will be able to go home soon... there is talk about lengthy needs of occupational and physical therapies. Much of the medical care she has received or will need is not covered by their limited insurance.

Caradys older brothers Youth Group wanted to help! They discussed how in medical emergencies families come under so much stress and concern and they just feel like even if we can come together as their village and relieve a little of their financial concerns (immediate or future) then that is just one less thing to stress about. Please come along side us in giving to this beautiful family!

Youth group is back after the holidays! Wednesday nights from 7-8 at the United Church in La Jara in the CE building behind the church!

Fun interactive messages! This one was about Paul’s journey from Saul to Paul which teaches us that God’s grace can change anyone, that we need courage and endurance in our faith, and that love is the ultimate force that binds us together.

Ice skating fun this weekend!!!

Youth group packs boxes for Operation Christmas Child each year! We will be packing boxes for kids at youth group this coming Wednesday! If you'd like to donate items or contribute to the terms youth group purchases contact us! We are excited for this each year!

We are gearing up for Connect Youth Group 2024! Last year the youth voted on many verses that encompass or group. This is the verse they landed on! What a perfect verse! Can't wait to start the season and see what the year brings. More details on when youth group starts coming soon....
