Rise Church began as the Calvary Chapel Whittier in 1977 and five years later became associated with the Association of Vineyard Churches. Our aim is to be guided by the Word of God, filled and led by the Holy Spirit, and faithful in fulfilling our mission of advancing the Kingdom of God. When you visit you will find that we emphasize having an encounter with Go

d, being equipped in your relationship, and being trained and released to engage our world with the love of Jesus. We are led by a Board of Elders along with a leadership team of men and women who love to serve. We hope your time with us will meet the hunger we all have for a real people, practicing a real faith, in the real world. We here at Rise Church of La Habra are all about loving God and loving others. We combine in depth biblical teachings and community action to reflect the love of Jesus Christ in every capacity we can. We are a convergence church, and therefore believe in gifts of the spirit and evangelism.
