Oramos para que el Señor les bendiga abundantemente, les fortalezca y les use poderosamente para Su gloria en esta nueva etapa de ministerio. Confiamos en que, bajo la dirección del Espíritu Santo, la iglesia continuará avanzando, creciendo y cumpliendo la misión que Dios le ha encomendado.

Al comenzar este nuevo capítulo, honramos y recordamos con profundo amor y gratitud el invaluable legado de nuestro amado Obispo Manuel Girón, cuya vida, servicio y fidelidad al Señor permanecerán siempre en el corazón de esta congregación y de nuestra iglesia en Texas.

We extend our warmest and most loving welcome to the new pastors of our beloved Church of God of Prophecy in Palestine, Texas: Pastors Moisés and Nohemi Ramírez.

We pray that the Lord will bless you abundantly, strengthen you, and use you powerfully for His glory in this new season of ministry. We trust that, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the church will continue moving forward, growing, and fulfilling the mission God has entrusted to it.

As we begin this new chapter, we honor and remember with deep love and gratitude the invaluable legacy of our beloved Bishop Manuel Girón, whose life, service, and faithfulness to the Lord will always remain in the hearts of this congregation and our church in Texas.

Today, the Texas Church of God of Prophecy extends our heartfelt condolences to the Varlack family on the passing of Bishop Adrian Varlack.

Bishop Varlack faithfully served the Lord and the Church of God of Prophecy for many years. Through his powerful preaching, sound teaching, and unwavering dedication, he impacted countless lives around the world. Here in Texas, we remember him as a faithful preacher of God’s Word and a respected voice in our movement.

Please join us in praying for the Varlack family during this time of loss. As Jesus declared, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die” (John 11:25–26). We rejoice in the hope of the resurrection and give thanks for a life well lived in service to Christ.

We believe the Lord has wonderful things in store for our Texas Church family as we gather for a time of worship, fellowship, and spiritual renewal. Please begin praying with us that God will move in a powerful way and prepare our hearts for all He desires to do.

A special thank you to our Regional Supervisors and the Texas State Board for your prayerful leadership and unity throughout the process of selecting our convention venue in Houston. We are grateful for God’s direction every step of the way.

We look forward to seeing you in Houston, July 22–24, 2027!

Today we say farewell to Bishop Willie Espinoza, who faithfully served as a Minister in the Church of God of Prophecy for more than 40 years, alongside his beloved wife, Diana Espinoza. In his heart, he carried the desire to attend our 103rd International Assembly in Orlando, Fl., and march with the Bahamas brass band, something he enjoyed doing every assembly. God allowed him to see that desire fulfilled, and shortly after, he went to be reunited with his Savior.

Our beloved Pastor finished the race with faithfulness and now rests in the presence of the Lord. His family chose to honor his life and legacy by sharing it with all who were able to gather during this very special moment. As a beautiful testimony of his faith, he was dressed in a T-shirt bearing the theme of our Assembly: “Testify,” a reminder that his life spoke of Christ until the very end.

Although we feel his departure today, we do not say goodbye, but rather see you soon, because we have the hope that only Christ can give.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.” — 2 Timothy 4:7–8

His testimony will remain in our hearts, and his example will continue to inspire many until the day we meet again in the presence of the Lord.
