On behalf of the church family of St. James Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, we extend our heartfelt love, appreciation, and blessings to every mother, grandmother, godmother, aunt, caregiver, and woman who has nurtured others with compassion and grace.

Today, we honor the strength, wisdom, sacrifice, and unwavering faith of mothers everywhere. Your prayers have sustained families, your love has comforted hearts, and your guidance has shaped generations. Proverbs 31:28 reminds us, “Her children rise up and call her blessed.” Today, we rise to celebrate you.

To every mother:
Thank you for your labor of love.
Thank you for your countless sacrifices.

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

On this special day set aside to celebrate love, I extend warm and heartfelt Valentine’s greetings to each of you. Valentine’s Day is a beautiful reminder that love is one of God’s greatest gifts to humanity. The Word of God declares in 1 Corinthians 13:13, “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” Love is the foundation upon which our faith stands and the bond that keeps our families, friendships, and church community united.

As we celebrate today, let us remember that true love is not just spoken, it is demonstrated through kindness, forgiveness, patience, and service. The greatest example of love was shown through Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us. May we reflect His love in our homes, in our marriages, in our friendships, and in our daily walk.
