We'll explore the historical setting, uncover important details from the text, and discover what Israel's experience of oppression can teach us about the barriers that keep us from fully living as God's people today.

Whether you were in worship on Sunday or are simply interested in growing deeper in Scripture, this is a great opportunity to learn, ask questions, and engage God's Word together.

Exodus 1:7–14
"Barriers to Living as God's People"

Israel was growing and flourishing just as God had promised—but Pharaoh saw God's blessing as a threat. Fear, oppression, and control became barriers that stood in the way of God's people living freely into their calling.

The same question remains today: What barriers keep us from becoming the people God created us to be?
