Do you know an LGBTQ+ Catholic? Would you like to understand how to better support them and advocate for them? LGBTQ+ Catholics face significant obstacles while trying to live out their vocations. Catholic allies have a large role to play in supporting and advocating for those in the LGBTQ+ community. This workshop will cover some possible mental health risks experienced by LGBTQ+ Catholics and discuss what allyship and true accompaniment looks like. Come learn what a Catholic’s call to allyship looks like through helpful information, case studies and examples, and discussion.

This Sunday, The Well will be joined by Diarmuid O'Murchu for the opening session of a week-long retreat. Ever since the mid 20th century the focus has shifted to the Holy Spirit of God at work in the whole creation and the invitation to humans to collaborate with the Spirit in renewing the face of the earth. The implications of this new vision will be explored in this reflective online Retreat.

Diarmuid O’Murchu, a social psychologist and retired missionary, belongs to the Sacred Heart Missionary Congregation. He is best known as an international resource person on Adult Faith Development.
