Is there truly a second blessing, a second act of grace, a later Baptism of the Holy Spirit to be expected by the Christian today???

Subsequent to conversion, the Samaritans receive a very similar pouring out of the Holy Spirit that Jerusalem did on the day of Pentecost. We see the significance of this pattern in terms of the historical application of the redemption, as well as the unification of the Jerusalem and Samaritan Church. We consider whether the pattern of "Holy Spirit Baptism" should be expected to continue as a subsequent experience to conversion even for us today.
