As an association, LCMC will begin a monthly Zoom meeting for youth leaders for the purpose of providing a space to connect, encourage, and equip each other. This regular meeting time will have a posture of community, fun, reflection, growth, and the sharing of ideas and resources, keeping away from unhelpful comparison and nitpicking theology.

We have always had a T-shirt at Catch the Wave so why not do something really fun to commemorate this unusual year! We have designed a fun "virus" shirt where our virus is spreading kindness instead of germs! Youth groups can go to our link to order your shirts for your youth group and they will be shipped directly to your church! The cost for a short sleeve t-shirt $15, long sleeve t-shirt $20 or hoodie $32. This is a fundraiser for the Catch the Wave event to help offset our expenses. 2021 Theme verse is from Ephesians 4:32...."Be Kind..." In such a time as we have been through this last year, what better message is this....Jesus came to us to die on the cross, to forgive us of our sins and to spread kindness to others...Saturday, March 6th Catch the Wave will be looking at the "virus" in a whole new way....Dropping your mask and being real with others....fighting fake news and how to filter the facts....having an infectious faith-super spreading the good news!
