Diamond Way Buddhist Center of La Crosse

Diamond Way Buddhist Center of La Crosse The Diamond Way centers were founded by Lama Ole and Hannah Nydahl. Public meditation is on Mondays at 7 pm: 507 Main Street La Crosse.

The Diamond Way Buddhist Center of La Crosse belongs to an international, non-profit network of nearly 700 lay groups and centers of the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. Our center is part of the international non-profit network of over 600 lay Diamond Way Buddhist centers of the Karma Kagyu Lineage, founded by Lama Ole Nydahl and under the spiritual guidance of H.H. the 17th Gyalwa Karmap

a, Trinley Thaye Dorje. The center provides a relaxed environment where people are welcome to investigate authentic Buddhist teachings and meditations. We always present a basic introduction for newcomers, and the meditations are guided in English. Lay practitioners volunteer for all the tasks associated with the running of the center, which is held together by idealism and friendship. To receive information about visiting teachers, current events and latest dharma news, please email [email protected]. There is no cost for attendance and our public meditation evenings are always free. We are grateful for any donations provided, and we function based on individual members' monthly membership contributions and other donations provided in order to pay rent for the space, and host programs and Buddhist teachers.
