Holiday Dinner tomorrow at Sacred Grounds! We open at our usual time of 7:00am and will serve dinner around 11:00. Please join us, all are welcome! We will be celebrating our time together these past years and the blessings we have received through our ministry and outreach. This will be our last day open in our current space and configuration.

Dearest facebook friends of Sacred Grounds. Please come to our Holiday dinner next Wednesday, December 18th at 11:00 am. We will be open as usual at 7:00am for coffee and a light breakfast as we prepare for the dinner at 11:00.
Please note that after December 18th Sacred Grounds will be closing our program in our current location and our current services until further notice. It has been a blessing to serve the community in this capacity and we look forward to what the future will bring.

Hi friends!! Just want you to be aware that we are moving to Wednesday mornings starting next week, September 4th. Same time- 7am-11am, same place- 122 5th St No., new day-- Wednesday! Hope to see you there!

Announcement regarding this week at Sacred Grounds. We will be open tomorrow the 12th as usual and will be closed on Thursday, March 14th! We will reopen again on Tuesday, March 19th. Please spread the word!

Hi friends! Well, we may actually be getting to a place where spring looks possible! I am so thankful for our volunteers who have battled the weather to make sure we can keep serving our guests.
I am also very thankful that we have been blessed with the presence of some amazing staff and students from Cru over the past couple of weeks. They have added a wonderful presence to our space and have brought donations with them as well! Thank you to the Cru crew! Several of the students will continue to be with us throughout the remainder of the semester.

Hi friends! I hope all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am thankful to New Beginnings Church and Jen and Kael for allowing us to use their space for Sacred Grounds twice a week. I am thankful for Pat-a new weekly volunteer at Sacred Grounds. I am thankful for all of our dedicated and amazing volunteers who are there faithfully every week. I am thankful for all of the students who choose to do their service learning hours at Sacred Grounds as well as those who come in and volunteer even without a requirement! They bring joy and energy to our program. I am thankful for the community Thanksgiving dinner that provided a meal for so many in the community this past week. I am thankful for English Lutheran Church who has donated wonderful food to Sacred Grounds. I am thankful for the guests who visit us at Sacred Grounds. Peace and blessings to all-

Hi friends of Sacred Grounds! I have been terribly remiss in updating our page and all of the amazing things that happen at Sacred Grounds.
**A shout out to our friends Mary Ellen and Peter Murray at the Neighborly Store in Baraboo for donating two huge boxes of socks!! They are so needed with all of the wet weather we have had.
**A huge thank you to Virginia who bakes us delicious homemade treats and is knitting warm things for the winter for our guests!!!
**Thank you to Jen and Kael at New Beginnings for being incredible partners by allowing us to use their wonderful facilities!!
**Thank you to all of our student volunteers!!
**And, as always, thank you to our steady, amazing, compassionate volunteers that make this happen!!
**We are serving anywhere from 55-85 guests each time we are open and we could not do it without all of the support we receive.

A beautiful memorial service and wonderful luncheon afterwards, saying goodbye to our friend Tom. Thanks to Pastor Jen and Kael at New Beginnings Christian Fellowship and all of the amazing Sacred Grounds volunteers, those individuals who have experienced homelessness are not alone nor forgotten as they leave us for a better place.

The La Crosse-Bantry Friendship Association donated 15-hundred dollars to Sacred Grounds of La Crosse to help the homeless.

Sacred Grounds in the news! Just to clarify- we do not have two locations. We are no longer at Wesley UMC. We have been welcomed with open arms to New Beginnings and that is our only location.
