My body my choice movement is promoted in the forefront of media by women. What is missing, the complicity of the other half of human reproduction, "THE MALE" partner who has equal or even greater responsibility of reproduction. The millions of men who coerced and even forced themselves upon a woman. Then in an irresponsible, selfish, sinfulness, abandons their responsibility to love, protect, support, teach, learn with, and grow together in love for God and with each other, and with thankfulness for the gift of Life, a new creation entrusted to them by God.
The solution to evil advertising and propagation of My body My Choice is to “Come home to Jesus.” Ask Him for forgiveness, repent, pray for His mercy, pray for the graces and faith to come home to Christ with love and trust, and all the other things necessary for your salvation will be added unto you.

There must be a few thousand wildflowers in our yard, different plants exhibiting colors of white, yellows, orange, brown, pink, purple, they are so delicate and pretty against the greens of the boreal forest. I am grateful to be in the midst of God's creation, a living mid-summers night dream. I lifted my eyes upward and was struck with reality of God's never end plans for nature, TWO bright orange maple leaves staring into my eyes from aloft, out of the dark green forest, like two LED lights. Just like clockwork the first indication God is starting to change his palette for a new dawn of autumn splendor.
I turn to Genesis 1: 12.14, it is there, still happening as told from the record of creation.
11 Then God said: Let the earth bring forth vegetation: every kind of plant that bears seed and every kind of fruit tree on earth that bears fruit with its seed in it. And so it happened:
12 the earth brought forth vegetation: every kind of plant that bears seed and every kind of fruit tree that bears fruit with its seed in it. God saw that it was good.
13 Evening came, and morning followed—the third day.
14 Then God said: Let there be lights in the dome of the sky, to separate day from night. Let them mark the seasons, the days and the years,
Oh Lord, how great thou art.

Brother Knights, consider doing a Novena starting today, for Ukraine.
Novena for Ukraine
As we approach the anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24, all Knights and their families are asked to join in praying a novena for peace and healing Feb. 15-23. The novena can be found at kofc.org/ukraine, along with videos in which Ukrainians affected by the war lead each day’s prayer.

KofC Father Baraga Council 2934 had a most successful drive for funding an ultrasound machine for Life Outreach Centers of Houghton and Baraga Counties.

Council members received donations at Larry's Market in Baraga and at Pat's Foods in Lanse on Thursday 17th and Friday 18th September.

We are partnering with five councils to reach the required fund matching from Supreme Council. When the ultrasound is up and running at Life Outreach, it will provide free ultrasounds to pregnant women.

The Knights are passionate about life, protection, and care of women and children. Statistics show 85 percent of woman thinking of abortion change their mind after viewing their ultrasound.

We were successful because of our community with the same ideals and love for life. Thanks to all who supported this fund raiser.
