Happy Easter! Christ is risen! Alleluia!

"They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they went in they did not find the body. While they were perplexed about this, suddenly two men in dazzling clothes stood beside them. The women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, 'Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here but has risen'" (Luke 24:2-5).

United Lutheran Church has a food pantry available to the public during office hours and on Sundays during worship. If you are in need please feel welcome to come and take some items that you may need. If you would like to donate here is a list of some ideas for items that are needed right now:

Jam or Jelly
Pasta sauce
Dry cereals
Salt/pepper
Vegetable oil or other cooking oils
Apple sauce
Canned corn
Canned green beans
Cream of Mushroom soup
Cream of chicken soup
Spagettios
Canned ravioli or spagetti
Canned stews/soups
Saltines crackers
Ritz crackers
Toilet paper
Paper towel
Feminine Hygiene products
Deodorant
Body wash
Dish soap
Toothpaste
Laundry soap
Or any other shelf stable foods or household products that you would like to donate are always greatly appreciated.

Today is Christmas Eve!

"But the angel said to [the shepherds], 'Do not be afraid; for see — I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people: to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign for you: you will find a child wrapped in bands of cloth and lying in a manger.'
