Having been remiss in mowing, I've discovered that there are a lot of blooming flowers at the farm through out the year. Most of them seem to be in the lawn or fields that I mow, thus the blooms seldom appear, until I skip mowing for 6 weeks. Thus, the blooms are seldom seen.

Children learning about Jesus. Revisiting the manger, where goes visit to earth began. Victoria Ubben (https://www.facebook.com/victoria.ubben?fref=ts) lead a retreat for young children. In the labyrinth, the kids were introduced to finding god in the unseen! Here, it was the breeze created by Victoria's wind machine, as the wind can be created when god passes by.

Rev. Jim Mitchell and Kathy Light team up once again, offering a day of retreat from the “ordinary” to reflect upon the “sacred” in the ordinary. Join us Saturday, February 21, at FCC. Breakfast will be available at 8:30 AM. The program begins at 9:30 and a light soup lunch will be served. Come for the morning or come for the day.

Together we will explore FAITH: what it is and what it isn’t. What is the connection between FAITH and OBEDIENCE? Do I need faith? Do I have faith? What is my greatest desire? Do FAITH and OBEDIENCE really produce JOY? Let’s search together.

Spiritual Pilgrimage Begins October 21

Consider joining Chris and Kathy Light as they begin a spiritual pilgrimage. Preparation for the Autumn 2015 Pilgrimage to Italy begins next month. The Lights will present monthly classes for the next 12 months as preparation for the 2015 departure. The classes are open to anyone interested in the topics listed below, even if thoughts of going to Italy do not appeal to you. Our guide throughout this pilgrimage process is none other than St. Francis of Assisi. RSVP for the classes, please, so we can have enough materials.
