This week’s message, “Only With God,” reminds us that a church that pleases God doesn’t just do things for Him… it longs to abide in His presence.

Moses shows us what intimacy with God looks like—seeking His glory, staying close, refusing to go anywhere without Him. Jesus made that same closeness possible for us today.

Are we living relationally with Jesus, or just functionally?
Are we doing for Him… or being with Him?

Join us as we learn what it means to abide with Jesus now and until eternity.

Join us on Wednesday, September 9th from 6:00–7:30 PM to register your kids for an exciting year ahead. While you're signing up, grab some food and enjoy the evening with us!
AWANA meets every Wednesday night from 6:30–8:00 PM, and it's open to children ages 3 through 6th grade. The first night of regular AWANA is Wednesday, September 16th. We can't wait to welcome your family!

This Sunday at FBC Kouts

Is it hardest to stay faithful when God seems quiet?
Israel thought they were “all in” — until 40 days of silence revealed how quickly our hearts can drift.

This week we’re looking at Exodus 32 and the sobering moment when God’s people traded the God who rescued them for gods they could control. It’s a reminder that even today, when God feels distant, we’re tempted to reshape Him into something more comfortable — success, relationships, pleasure, security.

But a church that pleases God stays faithful even in the quiet.
Because our God is holy, jealous for His people, and worthy of our loyalty every day — not just the days we feel Him most.

Join us as we learn what faithfulness looks like when the noise fades and the silence tests our hearts.
