What a wonderful day with our youth! ☀️💦

We enjoyed great food, sweet fellowship, kickball, a water slide, and lots of laughter.
Days like these remind us of the blessing of building relationships and making memories together.

Thankful for every young person who came and for the opportunity to invest in the next generation. Most of all, we thank God for His goodness, His protection, and the joy He gives us. ❤️

Such a great night!

Thank you Bethany Church of God and Pastor Drew Carr!

Who is Jesus?
Matthew 16:13-16

“Who do you say that I am”

It’s not about what your mom, dad, aunt, or uncle believe or say, but who do YOU say that I am?

This world has made Jesus small.
But who do you say He is?

Jesus didn’t come to make you RELIGIOUS.
The gospel says you can never fix yourself. But Jesus can fix you.
Jesus made a beautiful exchange.

Sin doesn’t win.
Death doesn’t win.
Hell doesn’t win.
Shame doesn’t win.
JESUS WINS.

This question matters more than anything..

“Who do you say that I am”

When you answer that.
Then you discover who you are.

Knowing about Jesus is not the same as truly surrendering to Him.

He has put eternity in the heart of man.
You can’t fill that place with anything but God. Nothing else will do.

You were not created to live for the world.
You were created to live in Gods presence.

Jesus wants all of you.
Your heart.
Your life.
Your future.

When you make Jesus Lord of your life, everything changes.

The cross demands your response.

Another road trip…. Another night in the house of the Lord.

We are so thankful for youth that WANT to worship. We are thankful for pastors, youth pastors, and others that truly sow into the youth that are our future.

We believe mighty things are in store for these young adults and we can’t wait to witness and be a part of it!!

Isaiah 40:31

Hoping in the Lord is expecting that his promise of strength will help us to rise above life’s distractions and difficulties. Do you believe God loves you? That He wants what is best for you? Can you relax confident that his purposes are right? Are you convinced that He has the power to control all of life - your life as well?

We encourage you to read Isaiah chapter 40 today.

waiting patiently

Psalm 40:3

Sometimes doing God’s will means waiting patiently. While we wait we can love and trust God, serve others, and tell others about Him.
Waiting for God to help us is not easy. David received four benefits from waiting (1) God lifted him out of despair (2) God set his feet on a rock (3) God gave him a firm place to stand (4) God put a new song of praise in his mouth. Often blessings cannot be received unless we go through a trial of waiting.

How powerful God’s love and mercy are!!

We encourage you to read Psalm 40 today.

Psalms 30:5

No one likes going to th doctor and having to receive a shot! However, that moment of anxiety and pain brings a lasting effect to help us heal and brings hope in feeling better.

David tells us in this verse that our “weeping may stay for the night BUT rejoicing comes in th morning”.

We must hold on through the anxiety and uncomfortable moments to reap the benefits of what God has for us. Sometimes we must get uncomfortable for God to be able to use us for His plans.

I encourage you to read Psalm 30 today.
