The Hawaii Association of International Buddhists (HAIB) cordially invites you to join us for a meaningful evening celebrating Dhammacakka, the auspicious occasion commemorating the Buddha’s first teaching and the turning of the Wheel of Dhamma.
This special event will feature two revered Bhikkhus, Ven. Dr. Dhammamuni and Ven. Dr. Ratnajyoti, who will lead an insightful conversation on how we can incorporate the core pillars of the Dhamma—Sila (Virtue), Samadhi (Concentration), and Panna (Wisdom)—into our modern, everyday lives.
Discover practical ways to cultivate inner peace, mental clarity, and lasting joy in an increasingly chaotic world through the timeless teachings of the Noble Eightfold Path.
Whether you are a lifelong Buddhist practitioner or simply curious about Buddhist wisdom, everyone is welcome to join us, connect with the community, and honor the turning of the Wheel of Dhamma.
The program is free and open to the public.

Last night, World Fellowship of Buddhists (WFB) President Phallop Thaiarry shared “A Prayer for Universal Peace.”
We kindly ask for your support in sharing and spreading this message so that it may reach as many people as possible.
________________
A Prayer for Universal Peace
We offer this solemn prayer for peace.
We look with profound sorrow upon the suffering caused by escalating hostilities, the widening violence across troubled regions, the prolonged conflicts between neighboring lands, and the many other disputes that continue to claim innocent lives. Too many civilians have perished, and too many families now live in grief and fear.
The Buddha taught that hatred is never overcome by hatred, but only by non-hatred and compassion. In the same spirit, the world’s great religious traditions remind us that love, mercy, and mutual respect must prevail over violence and enmity.
We sincerely ask all governments, leaders, and armed actors to stop the violence and choose dialogue, wisdom, and compassion. Only through mutual respect, forgiveness, and reconciliation can a just and lasting peace be built.
May all violence cease.
May innocent lives be protected.
May peace take root among all people.
May each individual prayer come together to become a great force for peace.
