Join us for a big weekend this Sunday at Kokomo Baptist Church!

First, we invite students of all ages (and their parents!) to join us for the Blessing of the Backpacks during our 11:00 worship service! Bring your backpacks and enjoy a special service dedicated to a successful school year.

Then, stay for First Sunday Fellowship immediately following morning worship!

Join us again from 2:00-4:00 for a wedding shower to celebrate Bro. Ian and JonBene’t as they look forward their upcoming wedding! Check out the link below to let us know you’re coming and to view their registry information.

🐾 Saturday Safari Adventure! 🐾

Our Children’s Committee is excited to announce a fun-filled trip to Little Creek Landing Safari Park in Sumrall, and everyone is invited!

Here’s what you need to know:

📅 When: Saturday morning, June 27

⛪ Meet at the church: 9:00 AM. If you’d like to meet us at Little Creek Landing, we’ll plan to be there around 10:00 AM.

🚌 Departure: We’ll head out together right after we gather

🎟️ Cost: Admission for kids and one chaperone will be covered. If you would like to come but are not a chaperone, we ask that you cover your own admission.

🍔 Lunch: We’ll eat at the park restaurant together

🚫 Please note: No outside food or coolers allowed

💧 You may bring tumblers, Yeti bottles, and other personal water containers

It’s going to be a great day of fellowship, fun, and adventure — don’t miss it! Invite a friend!

As the school year draws to a close, make Vacation Bible School at Kokomo Baptist a part of your summer plans!

Light up your summer at Illumination Station and shine a light on Jesus! Kids will explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals while discovering that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world! Like the disciples, kids will be challenged to answer Jesus’ question, “Who do you say that I am?” They will discover it’s not a matter of opinion. Jesus is who Scripture says He is—the perfect, proven, and powerful Son of God.

Plan to join us on June 15-19, 2026, from 6:00-8:30 p.m nightly with our closing ceremony and family night on that Friday, June 19, 2026, at 6pm.

VBS at Kokomo Baptist is open to all children ages 4 yrs (potty trained) to 6th grade. We can’t wait to see you there!
