Are the charismatic gifts real?

Join us for Movie Night #3 at Sycamore Reformed Presbyterian Church as we watch Cessationist: Are the Charismatic Gifts Real?

This documentary explores prophecy, tongues, miracles, apostles, the authority and sufficiency of Scripture, and the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in the church today.

Food will be provided to enjoy during the movie, followed by a 30-minute Q&A and discussion. We especially hope this evening will encourage thoughtful and gracious conversation among Christians from churches throughout Kokomo.

Dr. Begg returned to the pulpit to bring a message entitled In the Likeness of His Resurrection -- The Bodily Resurrection of the Believer, taking his text from 2 Corinthians 5.

This clip is found under his first point: WE KNOW.
Not we feel; we know. The resurrection of Christ is the pledge of the believer's resurrection. But sadly, many churches want to start a service by singing about our feelings, rather than the deep truths of God (which can fuel our praise).

The documentary examines the biblical foundations of Christian worship and explains why the church’s worship must be ordered by God's Word rather than merely by custom, preference, or innovation.

We’re looking forward to Movie Night #2 at Sycamore Reformed Presbyterian Church!

On Friday, July 24, we’ll be watching Spirit & Truth, a documentary considering worship and the church’s approach to drawing near to God.

Movie Night is intended to be an easy way for friends, neighbors, and visitors to learn more about our church and the historic beliefs of the Protestant Reformation. We’ll have pizza, popcorn, and other food provided, followed by a brief 30-minute Q&A after the movie.
