The BLOOM Center We use horticulture to provide development for youth & adults with disabilities & developmental challenges.

We are generally open 9 to 11 am whenever Knox County Schools are open. Our adult program is generally on Tuesday and Friday from 11:30 to 1:30.

We don’t operate programs inside the greenhouse in the summer because it gets so hot inside (121F one day in June!) so our focus moves to our outdoor cutting gardens. These flowers were started from seed by our attendees in late winter and early spring. Then they transplanted them to the raised beds. They are cut by volunteers and donated to Random Acts of Flowers to become beautiful fresh flower arrangements.

It’s almost here! ‘s annual spring fund raising plant sale! Saturday, April 25th from 8am to 3pm. Cash and credit cards accepted. all proceeds go to fund the program. All the plants are grown by our special abilities friends! So come get some great plants at great prices and support them!
