We had a wonderful time tabling at the Narrow Ridge Earth Literacy Center Hogskin History Day. Our setup was in the rain, but the weather cooperated later in the day. Rock painting, energy quiz, amazing conversations, lovely music, and a great bear talk! Thank you to all of the folks who came by to inquire, chat, and share. And many thanks to Narrow Ridge for bringing together this diverse community. Special thanks to the young folks who left me decorated rocks to enhance my garden!

On Saturday, February 1, fifteen houses of worship took a deep dive into the nitty gritty specifics of reducing energy costs, improving air quality, improving comfort in facilities. These intrepid volunteers gave up hours of time hearing from TVA about incentives, KUB about pricing options, building efficiency experts about HVAC, insulation, lighting and other issues. Most of these houses of worship have had energy audits and have attended our previous workshops in 2023. They are getting ready to take the next steps on this continuing journey, unique to each facility. Thank you to the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd for the venue, excellent breakfast and hospitality. And many many thanks to Bruce Glanville, Energy Home Basics, Michele Thomas, A1 CSI, Bryan Bell, Spec16 Lighting, Tom Erwin, TVA Energy Coach, Sean Wallace, KUB Customer Resolution Specialist, and Brandon England, Pathway Lending for volunteering their time for presentations. Thanks also to the many volunteers who helped set up, clean up and feed our participants. Participants had time to ask questions, review checklists and left with resource lists.
