Last week was AMAZING learning all about Muslim culture, praying for our Muslim friends right here in Knoxville, and then getting to end the night with breaking our fast and getting to feast with one another. Such a special night, and we can’t wait to see y’all tonight for Lesson 14.

Hey, ! Was Monday night so great or what?!

For lesson one, students look at Genesis 12:1-3. The statements of promised blessing came with a clearly connected purpose: "so that you will be a blessing" and "so that in you all the families of the earth will be blessed". The express purpose for God's choice of Abraham was for him and his family to play the key role in His global purpose.

Several of our spring classes have started or are starting this week, which means students are starting to learn how the Living God is a Missionary God. Pray that they would learn how the covenant with Abraham discloses God's purpose for every people. Pray that they would see how the most compelling mandate for mission comes from the entire story of the bible.

We are looking for a few more families who would like to be a friend to an international student from UT.🍊

Many of these students have left their families, friends and country to continue their education at UT. They would certainly enjoy an American friend/family.👏

The commitment is only until the end of the school year, and it requires meeting face to face with the student once a month minimally. This is a great opportunity to make an international friend, learn about a different culture while you show them "Knoxville Culture", and simply befriend someone in need.

Perspectives is kicking back off this spring, and we are so excited to see how The Lord is going to use this class to mobilize His people to find their integral role to play in God’s story. In case you haven’t heard, Perspectives is a 15 lesson education course exploring different aspects of God’s global purpose in a multi-faceted learning experience.
