Dear Church Family,
I hope this message finds you well and enjoying the blessings of God's presence in your life.
This Sunday we will continue our journey together in worship as we reflect on two powerful scriptures: 2 Corinthians 13:11-13 and Matthew 28:16-20. These passages remind us that we are called to share God's love with everyone and that we never do so alone. Jesus promises to be with us always, and through even the smallest acts of kindness and faithfulness, God can accomplish amazing things.
As we gather for worship, please remember that this is the fifth Sunday of the month. As is our tradition, the offering received will be designated for our Building Fund. Thank you for your continued generosity and support as we care for the facilities that allow us to serve our community and carry out God's mission.
I also want to remind everyone about our next Wendel Werner Gospel Jazz Concert, taking place on Sunday, June 7th at 4:00 PM. The concert is free and open to everyone, so invite your friends, family, and neighbors. Light refreshments will be served following the concert, providing a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and conversation.
Beginning in June, I will be sharing stories from members and friends of Fourth United Presbyterian Church about how this congregation has impacted their lives. Every church has a story, and every person who has been part of its life carries memories worth sharing.
What has Fourth United Presbyterian Church meant to you?
Is there a person who encouraged you, supported you, or helped shape your faith journey? Is there a special memory, ministry, event, or experience that has left a lasting impact on your life? I would love to hear your story.
You can send your stories to me at [email protected] or through the church's page. Stories may be shared anonymously if you prefer. My hope is that these reflections will help us celebrate God's faithfulness and the many ways this church has touched lives over the years.
As always, please send any prayer requests you may have. It is a privilege to pray with and for one another as we walk together in faith.
I look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday.
Grace and peace,
Pastor Erica Patton
