For this activity, you will need a roll of toilet paper and laughter! This game can be adapted to play with oneadult and child or more than one adult and child(ren). If multiple adults and children are present, then thisgame can become a competition between pairs.
The object of the game is to see how fast a child in your family can wrap an adult or other child like Lazarusin the tomb who was wrapped in strips of linen. Your child should start by wrapping toilet paper aroundeach leg then the person’s torso. Your child can also wrap each arm, and, if the person playing Lazarus iscomfortable, can even wrap the person’s head. When the wrapping is finished, your child should shout,“Lazarus, come out!”
After the game, you can say the following: That was fun pretending to wrap Lazarus and shouting forLazarus to come out of the grave! Isn’t it amazing that Jesus really did raise Lazarus to life? Jesus haspower over death and sin, and we can trust Him with anything!
