A short testimony from one who battles PTSD….

I still suffer from P.T.S.D as a result of my job in the Marine Corp Special Forces (Black Ops Marine). Since beginning the Beholds Course through the RU Recovery Program, I am continuing to grow in my spiritual life, taking me to new levels. I will always have the “ghosts” from my time in the service, but they are easier to live with now that my spiritual life with God is growing! I take less medication, and in a recent visit with my Psychologist, she noticed som**hing in me…a calmness! She even suggested we have sessions less frequently. The main reason for this calmness is that I have God in my life now more than ever. I can only give Him the praise and thanks for what He is doing for me every day.
