As a new school year begins, we are lifting up every student in prayer — from pre-K to high school and beyond.

🌟 May you walk into your classrooms with confidence, courage, and kindness.
📖 May you grow in knowledge and wisdom.
❤️ And most of all, may you know that God is with you every step of the way.

🙏 Heavenly Father,
Please protect our students, guide their thoughts, calm their fears, and help them shine Your light in their schools. Surround them with support, encouragement, and godly friendships.

📘 Theology Thursday – The Priesthood of All Believers

One of the foundational truths we hold as Baptists is this: Every believer has direct access to God through Jesus Christ — not through a human priest, but through our Great High Priest.

📖 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV)
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”

This means that as followers of Christ, we are called to:
• Pray boldly,
• Serve faithfully, and
• Proclaim His truth confidently — all because we have been made His own.

🙌 You don’t need a title to serve. You are called, equipped, and empowered by God’s Spirit to live out your faith every day.

As teachers across Knox County return to their school buildings today, we lift them up in prayer and support. Your dedication shapes lives, inspires growth, and reflects the heart of a servant.

🙏 Heavenly Father,
We thank You for the teachers returning to work today. Give them strength for each new challenge, wisdom for every decision, and grace for every student they serve. May their classrooms be filled with peace, encouragement, and the light of Your love. Use them mightily to make a difference for Your glory.

Sometimes the middle of the week feels like a blur — full of noise, stress, or weariness. But here’s the truth: God hears your every prayer, even the ones whispered through tired hearts.

“Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”

You don’t have to carry the weight of your week alone. The Lord invites you to bring your worries, burdens, and needs to Him. He cares more deeply than you can imagine.

In a world filled with noise, fear, and uncertainty, Jesus speaks a better word: Peace. Not the peace the world gives — but a deep, lasting calm that only He provides.

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

The truth is, we don’t have to live anxious or afraid. Jesus has given us His peace — steady, unshakable, and present in every season of life.
