Join us for the Rocky Hill Baptist Church Women's Bible Study Fall Kickoff on Monday, September 28 at 6:00 PM!

This year we'll be studying Hole in Our Holiness by Kevin DeYoung. Following the kickoff, we'll meet once a month on Monday evenings at the church. Our finalized schedule will be shared soon.

The kickoff location will be provided when you sign up.

Whether you've been part of our Bible study before or are looking to join for the first time, we'd love to have you as we grow together in God's Word and encourage one another. We hope you'll join us!

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you..."

Every sunrise is a reminder that God's mercies are new every morning. No matter what yesterday held, today is another opportunity to surrender our hearts to Him, resist the distractions and temptations that pull us away, and draw closer to our Savior.

The road ahead may be uncertain, but when we walk in humility and seek the Lord, He promises to draw near to us. His grace is greater than our failures, and His presence is enough for every step of the journey.

Today, choose surrender over striving, humility over pride, and faith over fear.

Prayer:
Lord, help us submit every part of our lives to You. Give us strength to resist temptation, hearts that are quick to repent, and a deeper desire to draw near to You. Lead us in Your ways today. Amen.

A bad attitude doesn't just affect our day—it affects our witness.

As followers of Christ, people are watching how we respond to inconvenience, disagreement, and disappointment. They notice whether our words build up or tear down, whether we choose patience or irritation, humility or pride.

None of us gets it right every time, but every day is another opportunity to grow more like Jesus.

Today, let's choose kindness.
Let's choose grace.
Let's choose to assume the best about one another.

May our conversations point people toward Christ instead of away from Him.

Every interaction is an opportunity to reflect Christ.

The way we speak to one another...
The patience we show...
The grace we extend...
The forgiveness we offer...

These things preach a sermon long before we ever say a word about Jesus.

It's easy to be kind when life is going our way. It's much harder when we're frustrated, tired, or hurt. Yet those are often the moments when our witness matters most.

Before responding, ask:
*"Does this reflect the heart of Christ?"*

May Rocky Hill Baptist Church be known not only for what we believe, but for how we love one another.

*"By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."* — John 13:35

Today, we simply want to say:
Thank You, Lord.

Thank You for Your grace. Thank You for Your faithfulness. Thank You for Your provision. Thank You for Your love. Thank You for the countless ways You continue to work in our lives each day.

"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits." — Psalm 103:2

God has been good, and He is still at work. May our hearts always be filled with gratitude for all He has done and all He has yet to do.

Many of us want the blessings of faith without the sacrifice of discipleship.

We want Jesus as Savior, but hesitate when He calls us to surrender. We want His promises, but struggle with obedience. We want revival, but resist the cost of personal sacrifice.

Yet throughout Scripture, God works through people who are willing to lay down their own desires to pursue His will.

The question isn't whether following Christ will cost us something. The question is whether we believe He is worth the cost.

"Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, this is your true worship."
— Romans 12:1

Church, may our faith be more than words. May it be seen in lives fully surrendered to the One who gave everything for us.❤️
