The English word Apocalypse has unfortunately come to mean 'catastrophe' or 'end of the world.' Yet the book of the ἀποκάλυψις (apokálupsis) actually means what its title says: REVELATION.
i.e. 'unveiling or revealing.' God's purpose of this unveiling is not to focus on dragons or beasts or flying scrolls. But, to focus on the Son of Man, and ensure that we "Behold the exalted Christ as He truly is."
Just like the rest of the Bible, the last book is all about Jesus Christ!
So, join us each Sunday as we 'Behold our God revealed in Jesus Christ' in every chapter and verse of this incredible book of the "Revelation of Jesus Christ."
