The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 30th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Cory Rogers officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 Friday morning and proceed to Loudon County Memorial Gardens for graveside services at 11 a.m. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.

Mildred Naomi Brooks
April 6, 1928 - July 29, 2025

Mildred Brooks, age 97, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025.

Mildred loved the Lord, church, gospel singing, and her family and friends. She was a former member of Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Church, for over 70 years, and more recently a member of Centerview Baptist Church.

Mildred was born April 6, 1928, to Dewey and Nadine Bryant. She was preceded in death by husband Erskine, son Harold, daughter Debbie, and brother Virgil. She is survived by sons: Herschel (Belinda), Mike (Debbie), grandchildren: Scott, Steve (Sarah), Bryant (Stacy), Joel, Joy (Justin), Kari (Greg), great grandchildren: Chris, Nicholas, Ella, Haley, Emma, Leanne, James, and Josephine, Sister: Nita Webb, Brother: Roy Bryant, and many loving nieces and nephews.

The memorial service for David Clifford McFall Jr. will be at Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Church located at 12424 Couch Mill Rd, Knoxville, TN 37932 on Saturday, November 23rd at 5pm. All friends and family are welcome to attend.

Member David Clifford McFall Jr passed away on November 13th, 2024. Arrangements are being finalized and will be revealed at a later time. Please keep the McFall family in your prayers during this time.

David was born and raised in Knoxville where he married his wife Rocio in 2022. He had a kind heart that touched everyone he met. His generosity and thoughtfulness were felt in the smallest gestures, whether it was lending a hand or simply offering a kind word when needed most. He was always ready with a smile, especially when his favorite football team, the TN Vols, won the big game. His memory will forever remind us of the power of compassion and the quiet strength found in genuine kindness.

Went to put flowers on my Mother’s gave, I got to say who ever is taking care of the cemetery at Stoney Point Missionaty Baptist church isn’t doing a great job of it!! The church homecoming was last week Sunday and I got to say in the years past all of the old flowers were removed before homecoming, I saw a lot of old faded flowers that should’ve been cleaned off before the church homecoming.

Clyde Edward Ragle, age 87, of the Hardin Valley Community, Knoxville went to be with the Lord early Saturday morning, January 28, 2023, at Parkwest Medical Center.

Clyde was a life-long member and deacon of Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Church in Hardin Valley. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5:45 p.m. on Monday at the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel with funeral services to follow at 6 p.m. Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery for graveside services.

SHIRLEY SLIMP OBITUARY

Shirley Ann Moneymaker Slimp, age 75 of the Hardin Valley community passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023, with her family by her side. Shirley was a member of Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time outside, checking on her neighbors, game shows, and animals of all kinds. Most importantly Shirley was a good woman that loved God.
Services to honor and celebrate Shirley will be held 12:00 Noon, Saturday February 4th at the Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Josh Spangler officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 11:00 AM – 12 Noon prior to the service at the church.

Preceded in death by his father, Samuel “Samcat” Houston Allison; his mother Maxine Jones Allison; Brothers, Lambert Paul Allison, David “Crow” Houston Allison. Dub is survived by his daughter, Melissa Kay “Missy” Allison.
