Our couple's class is on fire, excited about what the Lord is doing in our lives. We go DEEP in the Word. We ask the tough questi9ons. We study how the Word can help us in daily life. We memorize scripture. We ready the Bible and pray together. We pray at home on a daily basis, carving out time for the personal relationship with Christ. We crave this time, hungry and thirsty for the power of the H
oly Spirit in our lives. We invite others to join us while keeping a close-knit group with strong relationships. We hold each other accountable and share the trutyh in love. We trust each other. We hold confidences. We go to the source. We are missional. We take the church to the city, sharing the gospel of Christ and especially our story, praying for opportunities to fulfill the Great Commission. Since our class is a community, we are always looking for ways to serve others with our time, talents and monoey. We care for each other's needs. We are transforming individually, as a group and as a church. We are the current and future leaders of Second Presbyterian, paving the way for the gospel of Christ to expand. We all share in teaching the Word and contribute to the discussions. We plan regular social activities to build community and relationships. We have fun together while we learn about each other's lives and how we can offer support. We love to share good food! We strengthen our marriages by exploring ways to keep our relationships healthy, strong and growing. We believe a "three-fold cord is not quickly broken." We believe a marriage helps us become what we cannot become on our own. We love our spouse and constantly show appreciation more than we criticize. When we share criticism, it's always in love with respect, caring for the other person as much or more as we care for ourselves.
