Melanie transplanted here to East TN, from the UK via FL over 20 years ago and has a daughter, son in law and 4 beautiful grandchildren that bring light to her life. Melanie believes that you should always “take another step” spiritually, emotionally, physically if you aren’t moving forward you are going backwards. She has now entered a new stage of life, but continues to believe in moving forward. Melanie recently became a member of the Widows Club, a club no-one wants to belong too but unfortunately you get admitted without your permission!

In this “next step” she is pressing further in to Abba Father’s love and the call on her life as Chief Operations Officer of a ministry called The Lord’s Child where Melanie is raising awareness of the plight of the food insecure in America and around the world. Feeding families and children through The Lord’s Child Food Pantry located in Knoxville TN. She is now “Taking Another Step” into the rest of her life with Abba Father, Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit.

She and her family have been active members of The Gathering Church since 2005. Throughout this time she has become small group leader, deacons wife and now is a volunteer staff member. Melanie always says she has so much to be thankful for that she will spend the rest of her life thanking Father God and it will still never be enough thank you’s.
