There’s a different kind of warfare that comes when the enemy realizes he can’t make you stop worshiping.

So he tries to make you bitter while you worship.

He’ll use disappointment.
Misunderstanding.
Rejection.
Betrayal.
People you loved deeply.
People you served beside.
People you never thought would be the source of the wound.

Because if he can’t take the song out of your mouth, he’ll try to take the heart of Jesus out of you.

And maybe that’s the real battle.

Can I still love when loving has cost me something?

Can I still serve without needing recognition?

Can I keep my mouth from speaking out of a wounded place?

Can I pray for the person who hurt me instead of secretly hoping God “deals with them”?

Can I stand on a platform, lift my hands, sing about grace—and then actually extend that same grace when I step off of it?

Because gifting is not the same thing as fruit.

I can sing under an anointing and still need God to work on my heart.

I can discern what happened to me was wrong without allowing it to make me wrong in return.

Some warfare isn’t about rebuking the devil louder.

Sometimes warfare looks like saying:

“You will not make me bitter.”

You will not make me hard.

You will not make me suspicious of everyone God sends into my life.

You will not turn my worship into performance, my calling into competition, or my hurt into hatred.

I will forgive.

I will keep my heart tender.

I will keep serving.

I will keep worshiping.

And even with tears in my eyes, I will choose to look like Jesus.

Because at the end of all of this, I don’t just want to be known as someone who could lead people into His presence.

I want people to recognize that I’ve been in His presence by the way I love them.

The warfare may have wounded me.

But it does not get permission to change the heart God is creating in me. I will worship 🤍

“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”

☕ Saturday Check-In

Before the weekend slips away, let’s pause for a moment.

💬 Fill in the blank:

“This week, I saw God ________.”

Maybe He provided.
Maybe He protected.
Maybe He gave you peace.
Maybe He answered a prayer.
Or maybe He simply carried you through.

Share your answer in the comments—you never know who needs the encouragement your testimony could bring.

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony…” — Revelation 12:11 (KJV)

Sometimes faith doesn’t look like standing on a mountaintop.

Sometimes it looks like reaching.

For twelve long years, this woman had exhausted every option she had. She was tired, hurting, and probably wondering if anyone even noticed her anymore. But she believed that if she could just touch the hem of Jesus’ garment, everything could change.

And it did.

Jesus didn’t overlook her. He stopped. He saw her. He called her “Daughter.” Her faith brought healing. (Mark 5:25–34, KJV)

Maybe today you’re just trying to make it through Tuesday. Maybe your prayers feel unanswered, your strength feels low, or your hope seems small.

Don’t underestimate a simple act of faith.

Keep reaching.
Keep praying.
Keep trusting.

The same Savior who stopped for her still sees you today. ❤️

What a wonderful morning in the house of the Lord!

🎉 We had the joy of celebrating the birthdays of Maddie, Mason, Mrs. Kay Kay, Mrs. Lollie, and Mrs. Des. We are so thankful for each of you and pray God’s richest blessings over the year ahead!

❤️ In Sunday School, we learned about having giving hearts and the many things we can offer to the Lord—not just our money, but our time, talents, kindness, obedience, praise, and love.

📖 During the morning service, Evangelist Timmy preached a powerful message titled “God Will Never Leave You.” What a comforting reminder that no matter what we face, God remains faithful and His presence never leaves His children.

Thank you to everyone who worshiped, served, and joined us this morning. We are grateful for another day spent growing together in Christ.

We’ll see you tonight at 6:00 PM! There’s always a place for you at CFC. 💙🙏

Happy Monday from the CFC Team!

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.” — Psalm 34:19 (KJV)

Sometimes God’s deliverance doesn’t look the way we imagined.

Sometimes He delivers us by removing people we thought we couldn’t live without.

Sometimes He delivers us through a closed door when we were praying for it to open.

Sometimes His “no” is the very thing protecting us from what we couldn’t see.

His provision carries us when our own strength runs out. His mercies are new every morning. And can we take a moment to thank God for that amazing grace? Grace that meets us in our weakness, covers our failures, and reminds us that His love never changes.

Looking back, many of us can see that what once felt like disappointment was actually God’s deliverance.

Trust Him this week. Even when you don’t understand His plan, you can trust His heart.

As always,
Love God. Love People. Make Disciples.
