Still celebrating the good things that the Lord accomplished within the St Benedict Center's first cohort of spiritual directors. We had our Emmaus Retreat last weekend which culminated an 18 month training program in classical spiritual direction. I'm very proud of these 8 directors whom we commissioned for the ministry of spiritual direction. I encourage you to also read Fr John A. Roop's excellent post reflecting on the weekend. And please pray for the St Benedict Center for Spiritual Formation as we prepare to welcome 11 new participants in our new cohort this August!

What a gift we had in David Beckmann and his three talks on C.S. Lewis, Imagination, and Spiritual Formation. We were stirred in heart, mind, and soul—a true glimpse of beauty in the Kingdom of God meditating on these topics.
