Message on point from Brandon Shanks at City Hills Church a couple of weeks ago. Worth a listen! Ordinary work when surrendered to God has eternal impact.

We’re reminded that ordinary jobs become extraordinary when offered as worship. God gives divine purpose to our current work, calls us to work for His approval, use...

Inspiring to see all of these Commercial Real Estate folks in Knoxville spending time talking about how they are shaped by Jesus and how that affects their work. Big thanks for Will Acker facilitating the conversation. Each one of them came together from their common connection to Knoxville Fellows. How can we grow this conversation about Faith & Work in our city?

Thankful for Preach Where You Reach for helping tell Ian Dovan and Seeds of Change story of transformational change in Knoxville. Inspirational to see how God drew Ian here through the Knoxville Fellows where he was trained and connected forward to do incredible things. Most definitely worth a listen and could change how and why you do your job tomorrow.

New episode out now! Ian Dovan, Founding President of Seeds of Change, paints the picture of accepting Christ while jumping on the bed with his brother in his childhood; pulling kids “from the corner” and creating a company that gives second chances to formerly incarcerated adults to transform lives and lawns.

Faith & Work Lunch put on by our friends at the Doug Sager Institute next Thursday the 24th at Buddy's Banquet Hall in Bearden:

Join us Thursday, August 24, for lunch and discussion about faith and work! These Sager Institute quarterly Faith+Work lunch events feature business leaders sharing how God is using their marketplace influence to transform their communities, give them spiritual purpose and make a kingdom difference in the workplace.

On August 24, we will enjoy lunch and hear from a moderated panel of three local business leaders. Alan Hill with AT&T, Lisa Hammer with TVA, and Terry DeLaney with Bush Brothers will share insights into their careers of building a sphere of spiritual influence in the marketplace and how their personal leadership has been shaped by their relationship of Christ.

We’ll also be announcing Fall start times for small group Faith+Work cohorts and announcing an exciting February event you’ll not want to miss!

The cost is $15 for lunch. We look forward to sharing time together as members of the faith and work community in Knoxville. Everyone is welcome - invite your coworkers and friends!
