This is the FINAL Knoxville Prayer Walk topic for the entire Knoxville community to uphold in prayer.

THIS WEEK'S COMMUNITY PRAYER REQUEST:
For the past three years, Knoxville Prayer Walk has posted a weekly topic for the community to uphold in prayer. Thank you to the hundreds of prayer warriors who have covered Knoxville in their prayers each week and to those who have joined us each fall to blanket our community in prayer during our annual Knoxville Prayer Walk event.

Anyone who knows Knoxville knows that our community is a special place where people authentically love and care for one another, where locals remain in their hometown to raise their families in a safe environment, and where visitors come back time and time again because they are welcomed with open arms and treated like family.

God HAS been faithful! He has answered our prayers and continues to bless Knoxville! We are enjoying an unprecedented time of growth and investment. Community members continue to support one another through prayer and their generosity of time, talent, and treasures to make Knoxville the best it can be! Please offer up prayers of thanksgiving and celebration for all He has done and all that He is going to do in the coming years.

Here are some easy ways to keep the momentum going on your own:
- Although this is the final prayer post, the Facebook and Instagram pages will continue to be live. Search the page for a topic that you can uphold for the week on your own or with your family, Bible Study group, or friends.
- Pray for our community - for its protection and for its success. Pray for unity within our community. Pray that community and business leaders will be bold, positive representatives who will work together to promote Knoxville and ensure its success. Pray for supportive community members who will passionately protect our “brand” that makes Knoxville unique and special and a place we are all proud to call home.
- Reflect on how God has worked in your life and in our community. If you have an idea to make Knoxville better or fill a gap, take action! Surround yourself with others who can help you make your vision a reality!
- As you walk around town, pray for the neighborhoods you pass through.
- As you drive to the store for groceries or gas or pick up take out, pray for success for the businesses you visit and their employees, as well as Knoxville’s economy.

A community will prosper when it is focused on Jesus and shares His love and when it is unified and respects and cares for one another. Shine your light! Spread Jesus’ love! Do your part to make Knoxville the best it can be! Can we get an AMEN?!

THIS WEEK'S COMMUNITY PRAYER REQUEST:
A mother’s love for her child is unlike any other. As you honor the woman who raised you - whether she’s your biological mom or a family member or friend who you consider your mother - make sure the important woman in your life knows how much she is loved. Call her. Visit with her. Tell her you love her.

If you’ve lost your mother, reflect on the unconditional love she gave to you and that you’ll never lose. Share that love with others in your life - especially those who could use a motherly figure in their lives.

Pray for mothers who have lost a child and to women who are unable to have children. Send them an encouraging word that you are thinking of them.

Give thanks to God for your mother and for her strength, patience, and love. Pray for all mothers and that they can show God’s love to their children and raise them in His ways.

"She is clothed in strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness.” Proverbs 31:25-26

THIS WEEK'S COMMUNITY PRAYER REQUEST:
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are TRUE, whatsoever things are HONEST, whatsoever things are JUST, whatsoever things are PURE, whatsoever things are LOVELY, whatsoever things are OF GOOD REPORT; if there be any VIRTUE, and if there be any PRAISE, think on these things.” (Philippians 4:8)

Pray for God’s blessing on Knoxville - that we respect one another in our words and actions… that we collaborate with others to solve issues and bridge gaps… and that we maintain our reputation as a loving, caring, and supportive community.

This week, live out Philippians 4:8. When we minister to each other with love, honesty, truth, and respect, we become a kinder and more compassionate Knoxville.

Do your part for our beloved community. Be kind. Do good. Promote positivity. Set aside your differences. Love your neighbor. Then watch how God will bless our community in ways we could not have imagined!

Pray for our farmers, their families, and their workers during planting season - that they will be safe and will have strength and energy during the long work days. Ask God to provide farmers with ideal weather conditions as they toil in the fields to provide the world with food.

THIS WEEK'S COMMUNITY PRAYER REQUEST:
"Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.'" (John 11:25)

Rejoice! HE IS RISEN! Jesus is ALIVE! Hallelujah!

When Jesus rose from the grave and conquered death thousands of years ago, He became the ULTIMATE conqueror of death! Simply ask Him into your heart and believe in Him, and you will be saved!

As we celebrate the resurrection of our Saviour and His victory over death this week, let His love engulf you and His light to shine from within you.

Pray that others who are seeking Him will find Him and that He will use you to lead them to our risen Saviour.

THIS WEEK'S COMMUNITY PRAYER REQUEST:
“Honor your father and your mother…” (Exodus 20:12a)

Parents have the most important and awesome responsibility of raising their children in the ways of the Lord and providing a safe and healthy environment for them to grow and prosper.

No matter how old you are, you are still your mother’s and father’s little boy or girl. Whether you have enjoyed a harmonious relationship with your parents or whether you didn’t experience the type of nurturing love you had yearned for from them… the complex history you have with your family has shaped you into who you are today. Take a moment to reflect on your relationship with your parents and praise God for them.

Also pray for :
- New parents who are enjoying their first moments with their child and may feel overwhelmed with their new responsibilities.
- Older parents who are enjoying a deeper relationship with their adult children and those who may be relying on their children to assist and care for them.
- Single parents who are trying to do it all.
- Parents who continue to grieve the loss of a child, as well as children who have lost their parents… that they may keep their loved one’s memory alive and honor them in their everyday actions.
- Individuals who want to be parents... that God may grant them the opportunity to love a child.
- Parentless children who are waiting for someone to choose them as their own… that God will connect them with the right parents to be their new family.
