🙏🏾 Dear God,

We humbly ask that you please guide us to be better stewards of the beautiful creation. Help us to conserve the prairies and forests, and to keep the streams and rivers clean. Please help us to save your bumblebees, beetles, birds, bison and butterflies.

Guide our growing societies and Church to build in harmony with the natural mosaic of ecosystems and environments you painted. Help us to preserve these generous gifts for future generations, and help our farms to be sustainable and bountiful to feed all of your people.

Loving God, make us instruments of your peace.

Where any are denied dignity—LGBTQIA+ siblings, immigrants, the poor—let us stand with them.

Where there is despair, bring hope; where fear, bring faith; where darkness, bring light.
Teach us to comfort, to understand, and to love.
In giving, pardoning, and loving, may we become your peace.

We thank You for choosing us to be in You before the creation of the world. We thank You for choosing us for adoption into Your endless grace through Your Son, Jesus Christ.

We ask for Your instruction and guidance in the way we should go. We pray that the eyes of our hearts be enlightened to see the hope to which You have called us.

We pray that You guide us to take care of your creation.
We pray that You help us to love You with all of our heart. And we pray that You help us to love our neighbors as ourselves.

🙏🏾 God,

Keep reminding us that we are one human race, created in Your image. Destroy every root of racism in all branches of government, schools and churches.

Holy Spirit, let us educate hearts to embrace diversity and respect differences. Help us to teach our children and others to value every human being. Let us raise a generation that walks in love, truth and compassion.

God, restore the dignity of those who have been treated as less-than because of the color of their skin or the language they speak. Let our lives be a testimony of standing up for justice, love, and mercy. Amen

🙏🏾 Help us, Oh Lord, to pause in the chaos of this world and appreciate your creation.

So often we go through the day and forget to see your hand actively participating in our everyday.

Holy one, guide our minds and hearts to bask, even for a moment, in your presence, in your creation, reminding our Spirit who we are and who we belong to. For we are yours and because you made us, we are all beautiful and wonderful.
