The tornado threat has concluded in our area for the time being. I know that a large tornado passed just to the west and north of town. I will be at the church at 8:00am tomorrow morning. If you need anything, don't hesitate to reach out tonight or tomorrow morning. My heart and prayers are with our Knox and Starke County community tonight.

Grace Upon Grace,

Pastor Nathan

There are a few announcements that would have been included in this week's bulletin, had we been able to gather for worship this morning:

SOUP MAKING DAY
The Women’s Group is sponsoring a soup making day this coming Saturday, January 31 at 12:30pm at the church. These soups will be stored in the freezer for pastor to take on visits or to be handed out as needed. There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer if you would like to sign up to donate items. Of course, any and all hands are welcome to join us on Saturday as we prepare the soups!

ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE
We will have a traditional Ash Wednesday service on Ash Wednesday, February 18, at 6:00pm at the church as we begin our Lenten journey together. As part of this service, we will be participating in the imposition of ashes.

LENTEN BOOK STUDY
Our next book study will begin with the beginning of Lent on Monday, February 23 at noon in the library. We will be going through Susan Robb’s book, “Remember”. God's covenants throughout the Old Testament show the character of God's promises to God's people. In this book, Susan Robb leads readers through the covenants with Noah, Abraham, Moses and Israel, and David, followed by the New Covenant established on Maundy Thursday. The Lenten story culminates with an examination of the cross as another example of God's promise for a new world. You can sign up for the book study at the table in the foyer!
