Matthew 28:1-7 -
He is Risen; Has He risen in your life?
He is risen; but have you allowed Him to rise in your life. The scripture used today has been discussed numerous times throughout the years. The question for the day is: do you believe He is risen?
Only Jesus has the power to raise the dead. There is nothing impossible for Him. He loves us and was willing to die in our stead. His death redeemed us from our sentence of death given in the garden.
All power belongs to God. Jesus laid down His life and picked it up again. No man could take it. We were redeemed by the shedding of His blood at Calvary. Beginning in the garden, God gave us choices. We were created to live forever, and we are free to choose where we will spend eternity - Heaven or Hell.
Joshua 24:14-15 tells us to fear the Lord and serve Him in sincerity and truth. If it seems evil to serve the Lord, then you should choose this day whom you will serve. My choice is the Lord.
Choices: You have a choice as to whom you will serve. If you choose God, you also have a choice as to how adamant you will be in serving Him. He is a keeper and He will preserve you unto His coming.
You must make a choice. He is risen. Allow Him to be risen in your life to live eternity with Him.

Having Jesus Makes the Difference -
In our short lifetime, based on our experiences, we can attest to the facts and boldly say that having Jesus in our lives makes the difference.
God says, He will supply our every need, no matter what the situation happens to be at that particular time. He shows us favor, for those occasions we need it. He even supplies us with health and strength to do the things we need to complete on a daily basis.
A person may want to refuse to honor a request for assistance, but this person will find oneself honoring the request because there a greater power directing the answer to the request. Heaven deemed the request be met now. As the song states, "When Jesus says 'yes' nobody can say 'no'".
Our lives are spared, we don't receive injuries when we're involved in accidents, funding appears to pay bills we have no idea how we're going to cover it, the list goes on and on. But we can say with confidence that Jesus came to our rescue; He made the difference.
Deuteronomy 2:7 states that for forty years the Israelites walked through the wilderness and lacked nothing. Psalms 68:19 says, He daily loads us with benefits. Matt 14:19-21 tells us how the Lord used five loaves and two fish to feed 5000 men plus women and children whom He ministered to in the desert. When everyone had eaten their fill, the disciples were able to collect twelve baskets of food.
Proverbs 3:6 says to acknowledge Him in all things. He'll direct our paths. Psalms 48:14 says God is our God for ever and ever. He'll guide us even unto death. Psalms 73:24 says He will guide us with counsel and receive us to glory.
Jesus makes the difference - let Him lead you.
