How can it be September already!!!! We started the month of August with our monthly fellowship Sunday. On this Sunday the two men that are in Bible Institute classes preach, followed by a meal that everyone helps in. During the month of August is Children’s Day as well. The kids always look forward to this day. We have a special time for them during Sunday school. Each service has been completely full, PRAISE THE LORD! Each Tuesday we still get together to assemble packets for every house in our city followed by a special time of prayer. We also took a trip to a town close to the Argentino border. The last Saturday of the month the container of Bibles and Romans arrived at the church. We spent half the day unloading the container in the cold and lots of rain. The ladies had their monthly meeting at 4 after unloading the container. It was a very full, long day. Sunday morning services were full. After services we went home for lunch and a break. That evening I ended up having a seizure while standing talking with James. (I have epilepsy). Thankfully James was there and caught me before I hit the floor. He said it was a long one. He had Isaiah keep me on my side while he called the ambulance as he couldn’t get me to respond to him correctly. I only remember bits and pieces of the paramedics trying to get me to answer them and pieces of the ride to the clinic. I have not had any issues with my epilepsy for a little more than 18 years. I have an appointment scheduled with a neurologist on Friday. For now I am slowing down some as I feel like I was overdoing myself triggering this.
Please keep the building project in much prayer. The men have stared to get things ready for the concrete work. We are half way to our goal of funds for the building.

Want to share an interesting story from us. You always hear how the world is big yet so small. Back in 2022 we took a day trip to a boarder crossing town to Argentina called Icalma. We took several pictures that day one being a random restaurant and cabins along the lake. Now fast forward to 2026. We have a man from Venezuela reach out to us online looking for an Independent Baptist church for him and his family to attend. They started coming, wife got saved through Bible studies and there little boy has become Isaiah and Tito’s little buddy. Come to find out the wife is from Icalma. Her mom and dad own cabins and a restaurant there. While sharing with her the pictures we took back in 2022, she stops on the one and says “ that is our cabins and restaurant!” I was amazed. She asked “why did you take that picture back then?” I told her “ I have no idea”. This week we were invited to go back to Icalma to the place in the picture for a Bible study with here parents! It is amazing how God puts things together. Back in 2022 we had no idea a random picture taken would come full circle to 2026, a man from Venezuela marrying a woman from Icalma, Chile looking for a church in Temuco would come to Bible Studies in the family of that picture. Resulting in her salvation and we will see what else comes about. You just never know during your days what else God is working on for the future!

Update on the church building progress. The architect is finishing up all the permits with the city and getting the floors plans completed. We have approximately half of the building funds but we are starting as soon as the floors plans are completed.
Update on the growth in the church. We have had a wonderful growth spiritually and numerically. We have continued with the studies, and distribution of John and Romans and Bibles to those in need.
Update on container of Bibles …. They have passed through the canal and our in route to Chile! We are expecting to receive words in the next week or two that they are at port. Please pray that all goes well and that there are no hefty fees involved. These Bibles are for distribution to churches and people in need in Chile. Again, we would like to thank the gentleman that donated the funding for this project ( container, Bibles, and shipping to Chile). There is a great need for these here along with those willing to labor here.

I have been doing a class for over a month now with kids that have parents attending the discipleship class on Sunday evenings. It is our version of “master’s club”. Each week the children have a project they are to do outside of the church and return the task with their signature and the parents that it was completed. They then receive a badge for it on their sash. This is a 10 week long class on missions/missionaries. At the end we will present what they were taught in front of the church and parents. Last Sunday we discussed how they can help missionaries one of the ways is to write them letters of encouragement. During class we picked our missionary in Columbia (the country) to send encouragement to. It was special to see how much they enjoyed doing this. The letters weren’t sent via WhatsApp pictures, the family was encouraged by them and sent them messages back. This has been such a learning experience for them. Isaiah has been my helper in the class with songs, playing guitar, and helping with the little ones.
