A Prayer for Collective Grief
God,
The grief is everywhere right now.
A flood in Texas stole over 100 lives.
Policies are being passed that feel more like bo***ge than freedom.
ICE agents are tearing families apart.
And layoffs are leaving capable people wondering if they still matter.
It’s all too much—and yet, somehow, we’re still here.
You said You are near to the broken-hearted.
So come near.
Comfort those who mourn.
Give peace to the anxious.
Give us beauty for ashes.
Give us strength to rise, together.
And when we don’t know what to do—remind us that even in global shaking,
Your throne remains unshaken.
Amen.
🕊
For anyone feeling the weight of it all—you’re not alone.
You are seen.
You are held.
You are still here.
We invite you to a virtual prayer room tonight at 7pm EST (your invitation in comments)
